Pee-a-boo! Dogwoods are ready to bloom!
What a fluffy daffodil! Don't remember the variety.
Pretty combination of burros's tail sedum and grape hyacinth
Mayapples undurling their umbrellas
Adder's tongue in the woods
Dandelions may be a weed to some, but they have a beautiful bloom!
Pasque Flower
Isn't this a cute little guy? He and about a dozen others serenaded me all afternoon while I worked in the garden. He was the only one I could get to pose for me!
Awesome photos ... especially the last one! Thanks for posting!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful blooms! My Anemone Blandas are not blooming yet. Do you know the name of the fluffy daffs? Adder's Tongue is nice, it look like a lily flower. Keep posting more woodland flowers!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your kind comments! No, sorry, Idon't know the name of that daff. Most of the daffs here were planted about 25 yrs ago, some as long ago as the l950's, long before I came here. So they may have been hybridizing with each other for years. There are some fluffy ones in the same clumps with single split coronas, so they might not be a commercial variety. Maybe a sport. I couldn't find them on google anywhere.
